About Jehangir Saifullah Khan
Jehangir Saifullah Khan has diversified business experience of 20 years. He joined the Saif Group after graduating from University of Virginia, USA (which is a renowned university of USA). After successfully managing the Group’s Textile operations for three years, he joined Saif Telecom, where he was involved in developing and securing financing for Pakistan’s first under-sea fiber optic cable system TW-1. Transworld is the only operator in Pakistan which owns its 1,300 KM submarine cable system TW1 and is also a consortium member of the 20,000KM fiber optic cable system SEA-ME-WE 5 which is a multiregional data superhighway connecting Pakistan to Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe.
After successful completion of the undersea fiber optic system, he joined Saif Energy Limited and is presently the Chief Executive Officer. Saif Energy Limited has had several oil and gas discoveries under his leadership.
Khan’s passion for alleviation of poverty through high impact business projects, made him conceive JSK feeds Ltd in 2014, a poultry and animal feed manufacturing industry. This project has a direct impact on lives of two hundred thousand people helping them to come out of poverty.
Mr. Khan has remained member of Board of Directors of various Public Limited Companies and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade (KP-BOIT).
His latest project D. I. Khan New City is a landmark project with a vision to create an international standard city with modern facilities and luxury living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Nested on the CPEC, western route D. I. Khan New City is a gated community with a 24-hours surveillance and security system for its residents. The city will combine breath-taking landscape with wide and clean roads and spaces to create a beautiful environment where people will have access to the best education and health system in the region and other essential and luxury amenities.
Mr. Khan has attended the extensive National Security Workshop -12 at the National Defence University Islamabad that gave him the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge on National Security Policy, Statecraft and Foreign Policy of Pakistan.
He is also Certified Director from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
Khan has also worked with Merrill Lynch, Salomon Smith Barney and ABN AMRO Bankwhile being a student. He was the member of the prestigious Young President’s Organization (YPO) and was one the youngest members in the world at the time of his joining. He has also served as Member Executive Committee of Pakistan Petroleum Exploration & Production Association (PPEPCA) in Pakistan
Mr. Jehangir Saifullah Khan apart from being a high-impact entrepreneur is also a keen philanthropist. His contributions include a number of clean drinking water tube wells schemes in deprived areas of Pakistan, water reservoirs, free medical camps and high quality daily free meals for less fortunate, in different parts of the country. In addition, he also sponsors several sports events every year to encourage the young generation to take part in healthy activities.
